How to Enjoy Dancing on a Crowded Floor
Dancing in a crowded milonga can be an intimidating experience - but on a good milonga floor surrounded by other dancers it is one of the chief delights of tango. To feel comfortable you need two things: an understanding of the conventions and dynamics of the ronda, and the control to be able to dance simply in your own space.
In February’s course we will look at both these aspects. We’ll look at everything from choosing the appropriate embrace and dance vocabulary, to joining and leaving the ronda, choosing where to dance and even ways of enlisting the help of other dancers on the floor.
The course will culminate in an evening's social dancing on a small private tango floor where dancers can put what they’ve learned into practice
